About us

JusProg Consent is a service of JusProg e.V. The non-profit association was founded in 2003 in Hamburg and counts some well-known companies of the German Internet industry among its members.

The statutory purpose of JusProg e.V. is the development and operation of youth protection programmes to protect children and young people from content in telemedia (Internet) that impairs or endangers their development in accordance with § 11 of the Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (JMStV).

We understand JusProg Consent as part of this task. We want to enable “digitally immature” children to participate digitally with the consent of their parents and give parents a very simple and practical way of not having to completely ban Internet offers for their children, but to determine safe use with “parental consent” – ideally as a safe mode that the JusProg youth protection programmes can activate.

JusProg e.V. offers the device-independent JusProgDNS as well as other free of charge usable youth protection programmes for the operating systems Windows, Mac and for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android.
